AI and Healthcare is a peer-reviewed academic journal providing a forum for technological advancements in healthcare.  Its mission is to accelerate analysis and discussion on the improvement of health and health care through the application of artificial intelligence technology. The inaugural issue will be launched in mid-2019.

The journal is founded by a group of current and former policymakers, researchers, and technologists who believe in the achievement of better health and efficient healthcare through appropriate innovation. Financial support for the journal is provided by the Foundation for Healthcare Innovation, a 501(c)3 organization.

Open Access

AI and Healthcare is an open access journal. Forthcoming volumes will be unrestricted and free to read online. AI and Healthcare believes that increased information access, especially in healthcare, increases the pace of sustained innovation.

Journal Indexing

Over the years, many other popular indexation services have developed. These include Google Scholar, MedLine, PubMed, EMBASE, SCOPUS, EBSCO Publishing’s Electronic Databases, and SCIRUS among others. 

AI and Healthcare intends to pursue participation in indexation services as quickly as possible given the admission standards set for by these services.
